Ok, who remembers the picture below?
The mass gathered on the day of the new pope's election, the curiosity glittering in their eyes and the desire to capture this moment in their hearts combined and materialized in the awesome technological phenomenon called smartphones.
And what did these do to us?

Yes. Eye fatigue, stiff neck, back pain, sleep disturbance and such are a big problem of the modern day life where there's a screen that's staring at you, or that you are staring at, JUST ABOUT EVERYWHERE. Your laptop, TV, smartphone, smartwatch, LCD panels slowly invading adverting space everywhere, that big touch screen that takes your order now in McDonalds.... They are showering you with blue light that damages your eyes. Say you venture on a little retreat on a beautiful weekend- guess what, UV light isn't too friendly for your eyes either.. Sorry!
Long exposure to these types of light could damage retina cells of the eye overtime, causing premature aging of the eyes. The Canadian National Institute for the Blind estimated that the number of people living with blindness or partial vision loss is expected to double in the next 25 years! Well, in the next 21 years that is, since it's a 2013 data.
So you need help. Help Yourself.

"I can help you," says major Lutein |
The AREDS (Age Related Eye Disease Study) research group demonstrated in one of their research that a combination of antioxidants Lutein and Zeaxanthin, along with vitamin C, Vitamin E and zinc slowed the progression of age related macular degeneration. The key actors here are Lutein and Zeaxanthin that work together to protect the eye from free radical damage. They act to absorb and filter blue light exposure and improve macular pigment optical density to improve the quality of vision. (It is okay that you didn't quite understand this. Just nod.) Human body cannot produce these, so we have to take them in from foods or nutrition supplements.
